Frequently Asked Questions
Please review these items before use, before purchase, or when troubleshooting Facebook Album Downloader.
Is this an official Facebook or Meta tool?
No. Facebook Album Downloader is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially provided by Meta or Facebook.
What images can this extension save?
It helps save images from Facebook albums that you can already view in your browser. It does not bypass privacy settings, login requirements, account restrictions, or Facebook access limits.
Can I test it before purchase?
Yes. Please use the free version first and confirm that it works in your browser and Facebook environment before purchasing the paid version.
What is the difference between the free and paid versions?
The free version is intended for limited use. The paid version provides functions such as automatic continuation across multiple albums, resume support, waiting during Facebook limitations, and saved album list usage.
What should I do if pop-ups are blocked?
Allow pop-ups for Facebook in your browser settings. The extension needs to open a working tab in order to inspect album and photo pages.
What should I do if the browser asks where to save every image?
Disable the browser setting that asks where to save each file before downloading. Otherwise, automatic saving may stop repeatedly.
What happens if Facebook temporarily limits the feature?
The extension may wait and resume when a temporary limitation is detected. However, Facebook restrictions are controlled by Facebook, and successful continuation cannot be guaranteed.
Can it resume after Chrome crashes or the page is closed?
The extension stores progress information and may resume from saved progress. However, depending on the timing of the crash, Facebook state, or expired image URLs, some items may need to be rechecked.
What happens if I lose my authentication key?
The authentication key is issued only once. It cannot generally be reissued if it is lost, deleted, not saved, or unavailable after changing devices or browsers. Store it securely yourself.
Can I use the same authentication key on another device or browser?
As a general rule, the authentication key is not intended for repeated activation resets across different devices or browsers. A reset may be considered only when legitimate purchase information can be confirmed.
Can I get a refund?
Because this is a digital product, refunds are generally not available after the authentication key has been issued or activated. Please test the free version before purchase.
Can Facebook updates break the extension?
Yes. Facebook layout changes, technical changes, restrictions, account state, network conditions, or browser changes may cause the extension to stop working properly.
